LIN-CUT 1530W cutting table + Tomahawk 1538 plasma cutter enabling cutting of steel and stainless steel.
Machine frame made of steel incorporating sacrificial flats to support the sheets to be cut, containing water mixed with a specific liquid designed to capture the dust generated during cutting.
Table with a capacity of 400/420L of water and 10L of PLATEGUARD Red corrosion inhibitor, equipped with 5mm thick by 50mm high sheet support flats spaced every 75mm.
The table is fitted with a drain valve for periodic maintenance.
The VMD user interface allows you to control the machine and is installed on an easy-to-use multipoint 16/9 touchscreen.
VMD incorporates all the essential functions for plasma cutting. These include notably:
- User-friendly and intuitive human-machine interface
- Material, thickness and current selection for automatic cycle parameter setting
- Multi-directional JOG functions to move the machine (linear or incremental)
- A sheet alignment function
- Part matrixing function
- A scrap or skeleton cutting function
- Test mode and cut mode
- A large graphical interface to monitor program progress in real time
- Program resume functions in case of incident
- An ignition count counter
- CNC program import via USB.
VMD implements the cutting cycle through advanced functions:
- Arc voltage height regulation
- Cycle with electrical sheet detection
- Automatic consumable wear compensation
- Intelligent sheet detection management
- Speed management via F-code to optimize quality on small internal profiles
- Cut resume functions
VMD also manages:
- 1 laser pointer for positioning assistance and sheet alignment.
- 1 multi-directional torch shock sensor to protect the plasma cutting tool.
VMD incorporates a list of 36 parametric shapes most commonly used across various industries.
They allow you to quickly cut one or more parts using the VMD matrixing function.
The VMD NEST module allows you to automatically convert one or more files (DXF, standard shapes, etc.) and perform simple basic nesting.
Then select the material and thickness, load your sheet and cut.
The machine comes with a LINC-CUT® CADCAM software suite that will allow you to multiply your creativity. This suite is to be installed on your PC and will allow you to:
- Draw from plans with a complete and powerful industrial drawing module.
- Create text using a multitude of character fonts
- Draw with the help of parametric shapes
- Import standard formats .dxf, .dwg, .pdf and vector
- Vectorize your images
- Nest your parts and generate the tool path (manually, automatically or in full automatic mode).
- Generate machine programs
The LINC-CUT® CADCAM manages up to 4 cut quality levels to adapt the geometry of your part to your application requirements:

- Cuts for bolt holes
- Cuts for quality lettering
