Description

Important

The torch must be fitted with the correct consumables, chosen according to the application and the set current. A wrong choice of consumable will cause cutting defects, premature wear of the consumables and even a malfunction of the entire unit. The torch is supplied with a pot of silicone grease to limit seal wear and seizing of metal parts. It is recommended to apply this grease regularly.

Regularly check the wear condition of the protection nozzle, the tip and the electrode, or in the event of a significant reduction in cutting speed. It is recommended to replace the tip and the electrode at the same time.

Consumables are wear items; it is important to know when to replace them. Visually: melted or damaged consumables, tip holes>1.5mm, worn electrodes, melted standoffs… In practice: loss of cutting performance, difficult arc starting on the workpiece, etc.
Regarding the nozzle: Tighten the nozzle so that all parts are properly secured. The tip should not rotate easily.
Use compressed air with oil and water filtration.
